Thousands of people, including families with young children and elderly relatives are displaced and are struggling to meet their basic needs amid the ongoing chaos and frustrating response from the government. The local community in Lāhainā have been mobilized and helping each other for the past 10 days, but their need for support to continue to help their neighbors is ongoing.
