Ongoing support for Maui in the wake of devastating wildfires…

18 August 2023

Please let us continue to keep the people of West Maui as well as the Upcountry part of the island in your hearts as they navigate the incredibly difficult aftermath of the devastating wildfires. If you are able to send donations to Hawaii-based non-profits supporting community-organized mutual aid relief hubs, please consider doing so today. Thousands of people, including families with young children and elderly relatives are displaced and are struggling to meet their basic needs amid the ongoing chaos and frustrating response from the government. The local community in Lāhainā have been mobilized and helping each other for the past 10 days, but their need for support to continue to help their neighbors is ongoing. It’s so important to help these families be able to stay in Lāhainā and not be forced to move elsewhere. Please donate if you can, anything helps. Some suggested links are below. Thank you. — BRHQ
