On Activism

“I couldn’t wait to get back to where there were folkies and the antiwar and civil rights movements,” she says. “There were so many great music and political scenes going on in the late ‘60s in Cambridge.”

Activism On Tour

At nearly every concert, Bonnie offers terrific, hand-selected seats to benefit local non-profit organizations working on issues of safe and sustainable energy, environmental protection, peace with justice and beyond. Some of these limited tickets (called Special Benefit Seats) go on-sale through bonnieraitt.com in advance of the general on-sale for each date. For concerts where the ticketing platform can accommodate, and as a way to compete with scalpers, another batch of limited tickets (called Seats for Change) are made available during the general on-sale (via the venue’s official ticketing website.) To stay informed about when special benefit seats will go on-sale, please join the bonnieraitt.com email list. To learn more about Seats for Change, visit: seatsforchangefund.org. Whenever possible (due to venue feasibility,) Bonnie’s team coordinates the presence of non-profit organizations at Bonnie’s concerts to share information with concertgoers. Please visit these information tables to learn more about the grassroots efforts underway in your community!
