VISION STATEMENT
All efforts of the Musicians' Assistance Program (MAP) are motivated by the desire to assist the music industry in providing solutions to drug and alcohol addiction within its community, and to impart a message of prevention to the musicians of tomorrow.
The realization of our vision will arrive when someday the entire music community will become aware of MAP and its mission;
Every member of the music community world who wants treatment for recovery from drug and alcohol addiction will have access to quality care regardless of his or her financial condition;
The mythical connection between music and drugs is forever broken so that the musicians of tomorrow can follow the path that leads to their dreams instead of a path leading to self-destruction. In all our endeavors, this vision shall be the guidepost, ever directing our course. Underlying these precepts are always the principles of confidentiality, honesty and integrity, thereby providing the cornerstone for approaching our mission.
